Cannot log into Oracle BI Analytics with correct username and password



Some time you can log into both Enterprise Manager (http:/hostname:port/em) and Console (http:/hostname:port/em/console) on the WebLogic server with the same login credentials that fail on OBIEE (http:/hostname:port/analytic).


Error Due to: policy manager is down

Solution:
  1. Login to EM(http:/hostname:port/em)
  2. Expand Internal Applications ->wsm-pm(Admin Server)
  3. Check Policy Manager is down or not. If the Policy Manager is down
  4.  Restart the wsm-pm application by right clicking on wsm-pm.
  5. verify that the Policy manager is up and running, validate the policy manager page with the below ur   http:/hostname:port/pm
  6. Open the UI for analytic logging with same username and password

  3. wsm-pm(Admin server) is in Active mode, I'd like to think that it is up and running but I still cannot logon to analytics...plz assist
